Stigma is looking for a new Tattoo Apprentice!

We are an all female shop, I do not train male tattoo artists at this location.
Stigma is a cooperative environment. we require all potential apprentices to come learn the front desk and spend at least a month within the shop and around all of our artists to make sure that this career, and this shop, is a good match for everyone. This month will be completed before we submit the apprentice paperwork to the State.
You must be extremely calm and able to handle stress and high energy clientele.
You must have a good working knowledge of anatomy, wound care with the willingness to study continuously to learn more and stay on top of industry standards.
You must be good at steady lining.
Be on time, dress appropriately and be able to keep up with scheduled appointments.
Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Work cooperatively and be interested in furthering fellow women within this industry and taking care of our female clientele.
There might be opportunity for relocation.
If you have strong political beliefs and feel the need to be a social justice "warrior" please do not apply. We are an organic female led environment with focus on nurturing women in their art, family and future, not politics.

Stigma Ink doesn't charge for an apprenticeship, however Stigma does require a multi-year fulfillment contract to be fulfilled upon licensing.

Apprenticeships run from 6 months to two years until licensing.
